Murder Mystery Night - Idea of a Fundraiser

This is an idea for a Fundraiser!!
If you're not familiar with the concept of Murder Mystery, here is a brief summary...

- a Role-Playing game that might be performed by teachers (aabout 10)
- they're sorta like NPC's and one dies
- using information gathered about the other characters, you have to find out who the killer is
- there will be prices

We're planning on charging guests $5 each.
There will be background music performed by various ensembles and classes (Stage band, Jazz choir etc).

We're also trying to create a theme around the Chicago Jazz-Mafia idea with aid from the musical "Guys and Dolls" that the choir are going to do.

What do you guys think?

ooo and i have a suggestion... when we do that murder mystery lets try seating random ppl and give them a "mock family" that they are somehow related to the suspects or the dead =] they have to all have a motive but u know u didnt do it xD i think it will be pretty cool knowing how the whole room has a certain grudge against him/her hehee

and u know wattt? xD i think when we get seated and we give them their families we should tell them ahead of time and tell them they should be wearing a corresponding color to the character

i quote "a Role-Playing game that might be performed by teachers (aabout 10)" notice the might be. anyways, most teachers have a life and they would probaly be at home wif their families. with the exception of watkins and ramos, cause their just the only 2 that volunteered. so ya im having my fingers crossed to be the murderer.
