Grade 11 Repertoire: Assignment #3 – "Classical Experience"

Tune your FM radio to FM 96.3 or 103.1. (If you have another favourite classical music station, feel free to listen to that instead). This is a classical music station. Listen to about one hour of this station. It does not all need to be at one time, but you should listen to complete pieces. Choose any three pieces that you like and complete the following:

 List the title, composer and performers (if you missed the announcement, check the station’s website ~ many stations often have a “playlist” that will give you the correct information).
 Describe the instrumentation.
 Describe the musical elements of each piece: tempo, dynamics, stylistic details, texture, etc. (refer to your Elements of Music definitions from Semester 1 Vocal class to help you with the language you should be using to properly describe the music).
 Explain what you like (or dislike) about this piece.

Be sure to write in sentence and paragraph form, as if you were reviewing a CD or movie. Each piece should take about half a page to write about.

Explanation of what you liked or disliked about the piece: 10

what if im not in vocal class?? O_O

and i swear to god that there was no 3rd repertoire assignment last semester... when was this added?
